Bradford College

JIVE Partners is an exciting partnership creating change for women and girls in the engineering, construction and technology sectors where they are currently under represented. The partnership is developing and piloting new approaches which tackle organisational culture and attitudes and the lack of peer-group support in these sectors. Led by Bradford College, JIVE Partners brings together Let’s TWIST (Train Women in Science and Technology), the Women’s Training Network, plus the EOC, Engineering Construction Industry Training Board, Property Services NTO, the Open University, along with partners from 6 European countries. Funded partly by the ESF ‘Equal’ initiative, JIVE pilots a vast range of initiatives through its delivery infrastructure in Yorkshire, Humberside, Wales, the South East, and London, and is significantly contributing to breaking down gender segregation in these occupational areas.
