Cobham Mission Equipment is the market leader for air-to-air refuelling, developing innovative fifth generation, ‘nose-to-tail’ solutions to defence customers worldwide. In fact, so far we have delivered more than 2,000 air-to-air refuelling systems to our international customer base.

Air-to-air refuelling is a complex feat of science, calling on many disciplines from fluid dynamics to electronic and mechanical engineering. Its strategic value has ensured Cobham people have a personal connection with world events, including the world's longest search and rescue missions, life-saving medical evacuations and the protection of civilians all over the globe.

We operate at a global level, and remain at the forefront of engineering and production for the aerospace and defence industry. We have centres of excellence for design, test and manufacturing in the UK and USA – the key centre for Mission Equipment in the UK is our newly developed site at Wimborne in Dorset following a £15 million investment.
