Our solutions are based on variable-speed systems for which we manufacture three main components: rotating machines (motors and generators) — Converteam offers a full range of high-voltage motors, synchronous up to 100 MW and asynchronous up to 40 MW drives to control the speed of motors by varying current voltage and frequency. Converteam drives cover a full range from a few KW up to 100 MW automation and process controls for applications including plant automation, ship automation and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems. Technology centred on High Performance Controller (HPC) engineering tools and network systems has benefited from ongoing commitment to development, enabling Converteam to offer complete automation systems integrating the latest breakthroughs and standards at all levels – from process control to production and enterprise management. Our variable-speed systems offer clear advantages for customers on the markets we serve: perfect adaptation to processes requiring control and automation of production flows, as for example in metals optimization of energy consumption in step with mechanical requirements, in particular for applications using pumps and compressors (Oil and Gas, Marine and Offshore).
