Our business:

Fluor designs, builds and maintains many of the world's most challenging and complex projects.  Founded in 1912, John Simon Fluor started the company with a modest investment of $100.  Since those humble beginnings, the company has grown into one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the world.  Fluor celebrated its 100^th anniversary during 2012.  

Today, through its global network of offices on six continents, the company provides comprehensive capabilities and world-class expertise in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance and project management.  

A truly global presence and a workforce of more than 42,000 employees allow Fluor to execute diverse scopes of work on projects, both large and small at locations throughout the world.  Fluor serves clients in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals, commercial and institutional, government services, life sciences, manufacturing, microelectronics, mining, power, telecommunications and transportation.

Established in the United Kingdom in 1957, Fluor Limited has grown to become one of the largest engineering companies in the country.  From its first project for Texaco’s Trinoil Plant in Trinidad and Tobago, Fluor in the UK has undertaken many world-class projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.  Its current portfolio of projects include construction of the world’s largest offshore wind farm, installing intelligent communication solutions across the UK’s motorway network, complex and demanding undertakings for the oil and gas industry as well as mining and power projects.

Working Environment & Local Amenities:
Fluor’s modern, purpose built campus has been designed to meet the modern way of working.  It benefits from excellent work stations and offices, an on site coffee shop, subsidised restaurant and social areas.  The campus is located in Farnborough, Hampshire and is easily accessible from the M4, M3 and A3 corridors.  It is served by an excellent transportation network with trains from central London into Farnborough main railway station taking only 40 minutes. Additionally, London Heathrow airport is around a 30 minute drive.
