Fraser Offshore

Fraser Offshore is a drilling project management company working for oil and gas businesses operating in the North Sea. Our 31 people are specialists in well construction and include drilling superintendents, drilling and well services engineers, offshore drilling supervisors and logistics specialists. Organised in client teams, they are skilled in planning drilling campaigns and supervising work at the wellsite. Each project team operates much like a traditional oil company drilling department. With personnel safety, environmental protection and large investments at stake, this work demands rigorous planning, effective teamwork and total commitment. Our skills are rooted in the Southern North Sea (SNS), where complex geology presents many challenges. The area has been intensively exploited over three decades, but in recent years drilling campaigns have become shorter, resulting in the fragmentation of key skills. Well teams assembled for short campaigns often need to re-learn operational lessons, at considerable cost to the operator. We operate from a shorebase at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, working closely with the service companies that carry out most of the work for SNS wells.
