Infraco JNP Limited was established on 1st April 2000 as part of the ongoing development of the Public Private Partnership for London Underground. Whilst we are still a wholly owned subsidiary of London Underground, we have taken full responsibility for the infrastructure and assets of the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly Lines and have been providing a service to our customer in line with the newly issued PPP Service Contract. The joining of the engineering capabilities of these lines creates unique business opportunities. Amongst them, the extended Jubilee Line will be a leader in railway technology and safety systems and we intend to maximise the benefits of this technology to drive improvements across all three lines. Infraco JNP Limited will maintain assets for some 35% of London Underground Limited customers each day, or roundly 300 million journeys per annum. With increased usage resulting from the extension to the Jubilee Line, improved train services on the Northern Line and our Central London connections to Heathrow, this trend is set to continue.
