Komatsu UK Ltd based in County Durham employs circa 600 plus people engaged in the design and manufacture of medium sized hydraulic excavators for European markets. A specialised Products Division was formed in 1998 to develop products for niche markets - this division has grown rapidly and ambitious targets for future growth are in place.
