Oxfam GB are working in Sudan, where the people of Darfur are caught up in a conflict resulting from years of marginalisation and resource-based disputes over land and water, not to mention political and military engagement. These tensions have ignited widespread conflict and created some 1.84 million Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), all of which are increasingly vulnerable due to drought, unsanitary drinking water, poor access to markets and continued insecurity. Oxfam GB has scaled up support for over 650,000 people in North, South and West Darfur to address these problems. And that’s where you come in.
