Together with coal fired co-generation plants, a gas turbine and with a long standing track record of burning alternative fuels, the existing 200MW power station is one of the most diverse and technically challenging plants in the world. The company is based at Wilton in the North East on one of the largest Petrochemical sites in Europe. The core business is to supply steam and power along with a wide range of essential support services. The current site residents include a number of the world’s largest chemical companies although the site is now being marketed as a “Green Park” with a number of large recycling and related renewable industries showing significant interest.
