SRL is the European R&D centre for Shimadzu Corp. of Japan, a world leader in the design and manufacture of analytical instruments. We are based in Manchester, the traditional home of scientific research, which is now experiencing an exciting renaissance. Our role is the design and investigation of new analytical techniques: principally in the fields of Mass Spectrometry and Electron Microscopy. To this end we work closely with research groups at leading British and overseas universities.
