Technology Innovation Centre

The Technology Innovation Centre (TIC) is a national centre of excellence for technology-based development and innovation with the focus on Lifelong Learning, Technology Transfer and Business Support. The centre addresses the need for individuals, employees, businesses and industries to develop their understanding and capabilities within a rapidly developing technology-based society, providing cutting-edge resources and specialised knowledge structures to meet the demands of the 21st Century. The TIC builds on the expertise developed by UCE’s Faculty of Engineering and Computer Technology. Currently located at the Perry Barr campus, TIC will relocate to Millennium Point in September. TCS supports partnerships between business, universities and research organisations. Graduates (TCS Associates) are recruited into the partnership for two or more years to work on challenging, high profile projects.
