SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING Re-engineering Engineering The School of Engineering at The University of Birmingham is looking to build on the success of its recent integration of research and teaching activities by the appointment of world-class research leaders to a number of key posts. They will be joining a vibrant and forward-looking organisation, with two disciplines ranked as 6* and two at 5. It is the School’s, and the University’s, intention that all disciplines returned to the next RAE will be at least at 5* level (or its equivalent).
