UK Power Networks

UK Power Networks is Britain’s largest power network, responsible for delivering electricity to eight million homes and businesses in London, the South East and the East of England. UK Power Networks is a distribution company; we operate and maintain the networks that deliver power using 170,000 kilometres of underground cables and overhead lines, and 130,000 substations. We employ about 5,500 people and are responsible for developing, delivering and managing safe, secure and sustainable electricity distribution networks. We have 90 offices across the three electricity distribution networks owned and operated by UK Power Networks in London, the East of England and the South East. We also build, operate and maintain private electricity networks for external clients such as BAA and London Underground. We manage the network and maintain assets handling voltages from LV through 11kV and up to 132kV. UK Power Networks is currently looking for a number of experienced engineers to join various teams.
