Our client, established for more than a century and renowned globally as a market leader in their specialist field, are seeking to recruit a highly self motivated, dynamic and successful After Sales Manager as a result of continued success and a planned programmed of strategic growth.
Based in Coventry, the successful candidate will be a professional sales manager capable of promoting the organisation and product range across the UK and overseas and who can demonstrate previous success and experience gained in both a strategic and practical environment.
Tasked with identifying the customers’ technical and commercial requirements for after-sales support, you will liaise extensively with the Purchasing, Pricing, Engineering and Manufacturing functions to devise appropriate solutions and will generate associated quotations, specify customer responses and negotiate settlements as required, whilst processing orders and follow them through to completion and processing export orders including preparation of necessary documentation as well as liaising with packing companies and freight forwarders to ensure the subsequent effective delivery.
To be considered for this varied, challenging and highly rewarding opportunity it is envisaged the successful applicant will be qualified to at least HNC level (Degree preferable) although demonstrable experience gained within a relevant sector will also be considered and possess at least 5 years previous successful sales experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
You will be computer literate and proficient with the MS Office suite and will be Process orientated with a methodical approach and able to pay close attention to detail. With your strong communication skills and a professional approach at all times, you will be highly self motivated and able to think laterally with a Technical appreciation including the ability to understand Engineering drawings.
