Your main responsibilities as a Naval Architect
BAE Systems Maritime Services is responsible for hugely complex and innovative undertakings and we require enthusiastic and talented Naval Architects to join us in our large naval architecture team. Reporting into the Principal Engineering Manageryou will be key to providing a range of naval architecture activities with a strong bias on ‘in-service’ support of MoD and commercial vessels. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with a keen interest in pursuing a career within naval architecture.
Your skills and qualifications
* Typically degree qualified, likely to be in a Naval Architecture/Marine technology, engineering or science related discipline
* Experience in engineering or a defence or related industry- Desirable.
* We are looking for all levels of experience
This is a full time role and will be based at our offices within the historic Portsmouth Naval Base – Home to almost two-thirds of the Royal Navy’s surface ships and the oldest dry dock in the world.
