We’re looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to play a vital part in our £75m brewery expansion and upgrade. Knowledgeable and experienced, you’ll become a role model for the entire engineering team, working for a global company with some of the UK’s best-known brand names.
Carlsberg is one of the UK’s fastest-growing brewers, with brands including Carlsberg Export, Tetley’s, San Miguel, Staropramen and Tuborg. We want to keep growing, which is why we’re now making a major investment in our Northampton brewery.
With a background covering knowledge of both mechanical and electrical engineering, you’ll solve breakdown issues and proactively identify areas for improvement for our Packaging Plant. Adhering to planned maintenance systems, playing a pivotal role around line shutdowns and overhauls will all fall within your remit. Championing a supportive, customer service-based approach to team members, you’ll develop their skills and competencies through a structured development plan, instil best practice and build positive relationships with colleagues – acting as a role model for engineering personnel throughout Carlsberg. Using continued feedback with the Operations Team, you’ll also drive increased line performance and levels of service.
In addition to relevant knowledge that includes a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering City & Guilds qualification, you’ll ideally also be a member of either the IME or the IET. Preferably familiar with the brewing industry, as well as SAP, your analytical, communication and practical skills will be second to none – allowing you to effectively coach people at all levels.
Join Carlsberg UK and you’ll be part of a company where your development will be paramount. Committed to training, developing and retaining talented people, we’ll ensure you’re given every opportunity to advance your career by providing the support you need to succeed. Carlsberg offers a reward package which comprises a competitive basic salary and an impressive range of benefits, including private medical insurance, bonus scheme, share save options, a Defined Contribution pension scheme, generous holidays and, of course, a product allowance for you to enjoy our products responsibly with your friends and family. On top of this, there is a choice of flexible benefits.
