About the Opportunity
The Northern Territory Department of Construction and Infrastructure has a unique opportunity for a talented Manager to lead the Department's Bridge Design Section, based in Darwin.
Reporting to the Director Engineering Services, you will be involved in the design and execution of a wide variety of work, focused on the inspection, investigation and design of new and upgraded bridge structures. Bringing a high level of specialist professional bridge design skills to the role, you will provide technical advice to a range of stakeholders and manage the Bridge Design Section, to ensure output is delivered effectively.
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a Chartered Engineering Status. Please note, your qualifications and background can be from Australia, or any country that is a signatory to the Washington Accord.
For the successful applicant, Relocation Assistance will be negotiable. In the case of applicants currently outside Australia, the Department can offer a 457 working visa and sponsorship for permanent residence to the right applicant. The Department wants to hear from suitably qualified and motivated people, no matter where in the world you are.
