Job Title: CNC Turner Setter Operator

Location: Havant

Salary: Circa £17.00 per hour for the right candidate

Long & Marshall is a well-established and reputable precision engineering company and are looking for a CNC Turner Setter Operator to work at our premises in Havant, Hampshire. With our extensive range of turning capabilities, we have invested in the best equipment to deliver the highest-quality machined components to customers’ specification. We specialise in the manufacture of complex and fine-tolerance parts for a wide selection of customers. 

About the role:

Directly report to the Production Manager they will be responsible for the following duties:

• Generally machining of small batch high value components machined from a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, brass and plastic for the Aerospace, Defence & Commercial Industries. 

Note:

There may be additional duties from other managers / departments as & when required’ which will be expressed by the Production Manager.

Shifts:

• Day shift: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-12:30pm Friday (paid at basic rate)
• Overtime rate: Any hours worked on Mondays to Saturdays (inclusive) in addition to your
   normal weekly hours of 39 hours, will be paid at time and a half.
• Any hours worked on a Sunday additional to your normal weekly hours of 39 hours will be paid at double time.
