Role Overview

This position represents a journey towards engineering excellence and innovation. As a vital member of our client’s team, you will spearhead the evolution of high technology systems within the electric power sector. You will be working on projects at a state of the art Test facility involving automated test, control and data acquisition systems across a range of domains in a full-scale test environment.

This role will lead high-stakes projects including new DAQ installations for new project testing and current operating systems through design, installation commissioning, test programme delivery and decommissioning.

In particular you will be responsible for developing software principally in LabVIEW and designing the architecture of the application. Your expertise will be key in sectors demanding the utmost performance, such as marine and defence.

What You'll Need
• Degree or equivalent in electrical or software engineering.
• Experience in software design in the Test & Measurement sector.
• Experience of NI data acquisition systems.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for tackling intricate challenges.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with global teams and stakeholders.
