Role Insight
This key role is a platform for you to develop your experience and technical ability in electrical systems in an internationally recognised centre of excellence:
• It’s an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical systems engineer to provide technical leadership on strategic systems as part of programmes in our client’s state-of-the-art test facility.
• This systems lead role will provide technical leadership and expertise on power system design, power electronic system integration, modelling, test and validation across system architectures on test and other allocated projects in the test facility.
• You’ll have responsibility for leading and coordinating design teams to meet project objectives, delivering full systems design, installation and test, ensuring the overall design meets customer, contract and regulatory requirements.
• You’ll provide a key technical expertise interface to the customer as well as supporting business development & tendering.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or equivalent in electrical, electronic, or control engineering or a related subject.
• Experience in systems application engineering in one or more fields, from either power engineering, electrical drive systems, or power electronics.
• Experience in an engineering electrical systems design environment.
• Experience of system integration, working in cross-functional teams and on multidisciplinary projects.
