At its modern Tewkesbury facility, engineers are engaged in the design of products associated with 'Measurement Whilst Drilling' (MWD) technology. These products comprise of a range of measurement instruments that are located a few feet behind a drill bit and are used for oil and gas exploration. The challenge is to help develop innovative designs that can operate in a high pressure, high temperature environment and survive under extreme levels of vibration and shock.
