A multidisciplinary design practice are seeking to recruit a BIM Lead to take technical responsibility for their BIM output. The role is based in their Hertfordshire office, which specialises in Building Services Engineering.

The ideal candidate will be self motivated, currently operating in a senior position in a BIM role and will have a proven track record in managing BIM teams in a building services environment.

The role will require close liaison and integration with the London based digital delivery teams to ensure a consistent approach across the business.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following key requirements-

* Experience as a Revit coordinator

* BIM / Revit expert
* Able to operate as a single point of contact on BIM/Revit related matters with internal team members
* Development of strong relationships with the internal architectural teams with a view to working collaboratively.
* Good engineering knowledge
* Strong communication skills (internal and external)
* Clear and confident technical presenter
* Strong team player
* Strong IT skills
* Work with and direct people in more than 1 location
* Manage production to tight timescales
* Manage own work time between CAD requirements and BIM
* Positive / Proactive / self starting
* Contribute to risk management procedures
* Ability to see the ‘bigger picture’
* High quality document presentation (reports, drawings, presentations etc..)
* Assist in the recruitment of additional team members, including apprentices
* Resource planning experience
* Reporting to MEP team discipline leads and Director responsible for BIM
* Experienced in QA / IMS procedures
* Explore and promote innovation
* Approachable demeanour capable of managing and mentoring junior CAD coordinators
* Client focused
