Job Title – Quality Engineer

Location – Mansfield

Our client is one of the leading players in the Aerospace manufacturing industry, they are looking for and experienced Quality Engineer for this full time permanent role. The Quality Engineer will enjoy excellent career prospects, salary circa £28K, no weekends or shifts and all the usual benefits

Our well established client supplies components into the Aerospace and Defence industry sectors and they require an experienced Quality Engineer to join their existing team based in Mansfield.

The successful Quality Engineer will ideally come from an Aerospace industry background and will possess a degree / HNC in Engineering or will bring with them significant experience as a Quality Engineer working to high tolerances within Automotive, Nuclear or medical industries.

You will be a natural communicator with excellent team working skills, able to thrive in a fast paced environment, whilst maintaining an eye for detail. The Quality Engineer should possess a solution focussed attitude and will ideally be familiar with working to AS9100 / EASA Part 21 (G) Standards.

The Quality Engineer should be familiar with quality tools and techniques such as 5 Why, 8D, PPAP, FMEA etc. Developing continuous improvement projects using lean toolbox techniques.

In return the Quality Engineer will receive a Basic salary of circa £28,000 (Depending on Experience) with excellent career prospects and the usual benefits package. The role requires no shift or weekend work, so Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:40pm with an early finish on a Friday.
