The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:

A standard 37.5 hour week will be worked as follows:
1500 – 00.22 [9hrs 22minutes] Monday to Thursday evenings included

The suitable candidates will ensure that systems/processes necessary to deliver products to the marketplace are maintained and delivered effectively, efficiently and on-time to specification

This role will require working with Product Flowline (Work Centre)
Leader in order to achieve manufacturing output, customer satisfaction, ethical focus & integrity and will exceed H&S requirements.

Main Responsibilities Qualifications
Manufacture and testing of flowmeter and transmitters.
Manufacture and testing of Analytical products and transmitters.
Performance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdowns.
Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality.
Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and where relevant, test times are met.
Be fully conversant with equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle.
Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
Maintain safe working area and practices, ensuring health & safety of all workshop personnel.

Any other duties as required by the production supervisor – including set up and changeover of meters on tests (MUT).
Continually improve Flowline manufacturing documentation i.e.
Manufacturing instructions, Visual instructions etc.
Ensure that Flowline equipment are always within calibration and escalate to QA if out of specification for rework or replacement.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
NVQ Level 4/HNC in Engineering or higher.
Experience of working on intermediate moving manufacturing processes/Flowline (Work Centres).
Experience of working on production specific H&S issues & initiatives.
Team working.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
SAP knowledge.
Continuous Improvement Awareness.
Corrective Action Experience.
