Expert – leader - engineer – key person in the growth of gas logistic business

Manage and build expertise to support worldwide operational excellence and engineering

You will develop and lead the “Oiltanking center of competence for gas” and so support the operations and engineering services in all Terminals / profit centers with activities in gas. You will be involved in investments (expansion and greenfield), upgrades of existing assets, evaluations of operations and maintenance. You will build a community to integrate and develop the existing gas expertise, set the safety and operating standards, develop guidelines for maintenance and integrity management, manage risks, build specifications, develop and review conceptual design, analyze, review and approve budgets, a.o. You will lead the development of initiatives in the operational field (training, procedures, audits, etc.). You will work closely together with the Regional Directors, the Managing Directors, A&O, Terminals, Engineering, Operations and HSSE Managers of the operating companies and report directly to the Assets & Operations Director of Oiltanking Group.

Driven professional with strong technical, operational and business acumen

You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in mechanical or chemical engineering. You have at least 15 years managerial experience in petrochemical or the chemical process industry, oil & gas generation, shipping, storage or other relevant sectors where you were involved in operations, engineering, commissioning or maintenance. Responsibility, technical assets, people and operational excellence are appealing to you for the next step in your career. You have excellent communicational and influencing skills that will help you in your relations with colleagues, regional directors, local managers, specialists in the operating companies, key suppliers and contractors. You will be based in Antwerp (other options could be discussed) and travel up to 50% of your time.
