My client is a well established and professional company specialising in contamination and geotechnical ground investigation throughout a number sectors, and they are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Reading.

If you have extensive experience in site investigations and are confident completing Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations, then this role will suit you!

As a Geotechnical Engineer you will be working within a multidisciplinary team working on a range of projects. You will be undertaking site investigations, logging soil and rock to technical standards. You will be responsible for handling projects from start to finish, liaising with clients in the process, and completing factual and interpretive reports for both geotechnical and geo-environmental projects.

To be successful in your application for this Geotechnical Engineer role, you will need to demonstrate:

* BSc and/or MSc in Engineering Geology, Applied Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a relevant subject
* 2 – 3 years’ experience working for a UK based consultancy
* Experience in site investigations
