The Company:

We also develop advanced technologies to help solve some of the world’s most complex challenges related to water availability and quality.

The Role:
The purpose of this role is to lead the planning in a large project of HVDC, ensuring that the right tools, methods and processes for the management of time and resources are in place. Provide analysis and information to the Project Management team and PES Senior Management that allow sound decision making.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Ensure the project schedule considers the adequate WBS, relationships, inputs and outputs to and from internal and external entities.
* Implement schemes to control critical paths, key milestones, risks and opportunities.
* Ensure that the right scheme to record and monitor progress and performance against the projects' baseline is in place.
* Ensure that the right scheme to analyse the project workload and the use of resources.
* Ensure that the right reporting scheme to inform the status to the projects stakeholders: key milestones, critical issues and progress curves. Build scenarios that give visibility of potential issues and conflicts in the use of resources. Promote the adequate communication and exchange of information within the project teams that ensures optimum project delivery.
* Promote the exchange of good practices and lessons learnt among the members of the Planning team.
* Participate in the development of the Planning function by promotion across the business unit community.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent, Post-graduate level education in Operations Management, Management, Finance, or a related field is desirable, 2-3 years of experience in planning, project control or project management of large-size/complex projects, preferably in the energy, civil or oil & gas fields; with excellent skills of communication.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience managing teams is desirable.
