Our client is renowned as a market leader in the provision of innovative and bespoke integrated systems solutions to a diverse range of industry sectors. Offering a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide, as a result of continued success and an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Quality, Health and Safety Manager to work on a range of projects including the implementation of an integrated management system and achieving new accreditations including BS27001.

Working within an established BS OHSAS 18001 & BS EN ISO 14001 environment, the successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing, electronics, control systems or other high integrity solutions background and will have a range of responsibilities that will include (but not be limited to):

Quality:

* Company Quality Control / overseeing project delivery to ensure processes are achieved
* Conducting and reporting internal Audits on a regular basis
* Hosting external Audits as necessary and ensuring findings/corrective actions are completed
* Supporting the Suppliers & Sub Contractors assessment process
* Conducting Company Quality Training throughout the whole company
* Keeping up to date with the latest Quality guidelines & information
* Coordinating various budgets to ensure cost are kept within line

Health & Safety:

* Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and that the organisation is compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements
* Maintaining the company H&S Management System and ensuring that policies and procedures are in place and enforced.
* Conducting investigations and both responding to and investigating accidents and emergencies as necessary.
* Liaising with clients to improve site safety and writing Project Safety Plans
* Devising and delivering Health & Safety training

Additional experience allied to Environmental legislation will prove distinctly advantageous, with the ability to maintain the environmental management system, implement environmental policies and practices and audit, analyse and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies being viewed favourably. Additionally, the ability to train staff in environmental issues and responsibilities whilst ensuring compliance with environmental legislation will again prove beneficial.
