Job Details:
o Installation and Commissioning of enhanced, replacement and new equipment.
o Technical documentation production and administration.
o Supervision of Sub- Contractors
o Writing of Test Specifications
o Updating Technical Drawings
o Project Administration support
o Project Installation works
o Overseeing FAT & SAT to the Client
o Provide Engineering support to the ELTRACS Preventative Maintenance Teams if required.
o Attending and proactively participating in the Capital works Team meetings
o Production of Health and Safety documentation

Qualifications/skills

Essential:
o Qualified to ONC/HNC or BTEC in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
o Experience of working on modern electronic equipment in a roadside environment
o Experience of supervising Teams.
o 4 years’ experience of installing equipment in a roadside or similar environment
o Able to work variable shifts appropriate to delivering the Project.
o Full Driving Licence

Desirable:

o Microsoft Office Accreditation
o Civils Works experience
o Keen to learn new skills
o IP networking knowledge
o NHSS8 (Sector scheme) accreditation

o Have a positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
o Flexible to work patterns
o Self discipline

Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk:

o Report accidents involving staff and patients according to established procedures and in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
o Report immediately any incidents, accidents, complaints or other occurrences involving visitors or staff. Resolve wherever possible complete accurate statements and report to the appropriate manager as soon as possible.
o Report defects in the equipment and the general fabric of any building to the appropriate manager of the Organisation.
o Take action to assess the management of risk to reduce where possible the impact on visitors, staff and property.
