My client is recruiting for and experienced IT Procurement Manager, to support sourcing, contracting and project delivery activities. This will include the management of existing suppliers and delivery of contractual obligations.

Skills and Experience

* Significant commercial/business experience gained IT Procurement particularly software licencing, development and implementation
* Excellent working knowledge and experience in:

* Major systems integration and other IT projects with significant 3rd Party content
* Managing commercial risks and implications associated with the delivery of IT Projects where software and software development is involved
* Negotiating and drafting IT project contracts
* Negotiating labour and consultancy agreements and managing supplier performance
* Bespoke/customised software contracts
* Supplier management during complex IT project lifecycles
* Negotiating IT project change requests with suppliers with a view to minimising cost increases.

* Strong supplier relationship manager with the ability to influence at all levels
* Strong negotiating skills, deployed with due regard to achieving sustainable working relationships with suppliers and customers over long term deliveries.
* Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
* Creative, innovative and adaptable individual comfortable working in an isolated and occasionally hostile/challenging environment.
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
* CIPS qualified or equivalent.
