Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent an award winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Oxford. Our client are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Town Planner, with a drive to excel in their career within a progressive practice.

The role:

The successful Senior Town Planner will work on a wide range of exciting projects and will be responsible for managing and supervising staff and external consultants. Specific duties will include:

* Projects promoting residential, educational, and mixed use development sites
* Research the preparation of Development Plan Documents
* Administer all aspects of the enforcement process
* Manage all types of planning appeals
* Prepare planning applications for development opportunities
* Advising and collaborating with private and public sector clients

The successful Senior Town Planner must be a member of the RTPI, have excellent communication and rapport building skills, be proficient in report writing and have effective organisational and project management skills. Private sector experience is desired but not essential. It is also highly desired that you hold experience in both Development Management and Planning Policy, have managed planning appeals in all formats, and possess public consultation experience.
