As an Installation Engineer, you will be tasked with installing security and fire alarm systems at sites throughout Glasgow. 

In this diverse role, you’ll install systems, cabling, panels and associated devices, including testing equipment connections and signals. 

Your other duties will involve: 

- Identifying and correcting any problems 
- Ensuring that systems perform in-line with current standards 
- Maintaining your inventory 
- Documenting your activities and maintaining records 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Experience of installing security and/or fire alarm systems and testing equipment connections and signals 
- Previous experience in the security industry, including experience of working within commercial, residential and construction sites 
- Sound technical knowledge of security and fire products and systems 
- A good understanding of British Standards, NSI (NACOSS) and BAFE requirements 
- A full, valid driving licence 

Due to the requirements of this role, successful candidates must also undergo a DBS (formerly CRB) check. 

Hands-on and proactive, as an Installation Engineer, you’ll need strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. A team player mentality and excellent problem-solving abilities are also key.
