You will ensure the effective technical delivery of leakage detection, deliver the services and achieve the annual Company Reported Leakage target. You will support, mentor and coach Technicians in all aspects of leakage detection and water loss management. You will report to the Area Manager and duties/responsibilities of the role will include;

* To support the operational area team to meet all performance targets.
* To co-ordinate resources and collate information to enable prompt detection of leaks
* To provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex leakage and distribution issues.
* To ensure team complies with H&S, HR, NRSWA, Environmental and QA procedures.
* To assist in the performance management of all leak detection staff to ensure service levels are met and to assist in the formulation of plans for improvement.
* Ensure adherence with all procedures and to work with Area Manager and client team to continuously improve procedures.
* Undertake reactive work in own operational area where applicable.
* Assistance in DG2 / DG3 Incidents and Emergency Events.
* Ensure that field staff on site are supported and audited in their awareness of procedures and technical competence.
* Coach leakage technicians to develop and improve.
* Escalate issues to Area Manager and client where applicable.

Qualifications

* Several years Leakage operational experience
* Must understand the workings of Distribution systems.
* Full driving license required.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good IT Skills & Leakage application / technology knowledge.
* Knowledge of work management and reporting systems
* Ability to work to targets, to work under pressure and in emergency situations is essential.
* Must have drive and enthusiasm and the ability to coach staff effectively.
* Must hold valid EU Skills National Hygiene accreditation card.
* Required to be accredited for NRSWA (Supervisor) level.
* Good problem solving ability.
* Good organisational skills.
* Excellent customer facing skills are essential and GSS / SIM process awareness.
* Fully aware of H&S, HR, NRSWA, Environmental and QA policies and standards.
