Outline of role
The main duties of the successful candidate will include providing significant technical input into projects, including desk based studies, site investigations, data analysis and modelling, and interpretative reporting.

The successful candidate will also be required to assist in the submission of proposals and the development of marketing material.

Qualifications required
B.Sc. and either a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in hydrogeology or a related discipline.
Membership of a relevant professional body and working towards Chartership

Experience required

* Experience primarily required in water resources hydrogeology and water quality, but experience in some or all of the following related disciplines would also be useful: environmental impact assessment; engineering hydrogeology; contaminant hydrogeology; and hydrology.
* Experience of undertaking and analysing the results of hydrogeological site investigations such as permeability tests, pumping tests and water quality sampling is preferred.
* Competence in the use of Microsoft Office software, including MS Word and Excel, and preferably standard hydrogeological and monitoring equipment software such as AquiferWin 32 and Diver Office
* Experience of ArcGIS and groundwater modelling packages, in particular Groundwater Vistas, is desirable.
* Good communication skills required. Must be able to demonstrate good report writing skills.
