Senior CFD Aerodynamicist

Salary - £55,000 To £75,000 DOE.



Our biggest client is a huge name in the Formula 1 world and they are currently looking for a Senior CFD Aerodynamic Engineer to join their fantastic work force based in Oxfordshire. Including a fantastic package of £55,000 to £75,000 (Dependant on Experience) including some exciting benefits and endless career progression opportunities.



You will be reporting to the Head of CFD, to support our Aerodynamic Department at our Wind Tunnel.



The successful candidate will be in charge of actively pushing forward our Aerodynamic development of our race car.



Duties will include taking control of a developed area and working with Team Leaders to prepare, accomplish and report the outcomes of the wind tunnel and CFD studies. Additionally you will take on the responsibility to continuously improve the fidelity and accuracy of the CFD simulations and supervising and coordinating the work of our Junior CFD Aerodynamicists.



The successful candidate will have a strong background in CFD and aerodynamics, having aquired a Phd or Master degree in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering including an area of specialty in Aerodynamics. The capability to use CFD codes and CAD software is mandatory with a background of ANSA, NX and OpenFoam being a distinct advantage.



The role person taking on this role will need to be creative, show ambition and motivation and great attention to detail.



Flexibility in working time, teamwork skill and capability of working with minor supervision are essential.
