Job Title – Surface Designer

Our client, widely regarded as one of the most successful teams within F1 are looking to employ a full time Surface Designer in Oxfordshire. You will receive a basic salary of up to £65,000 with an excellent benefits package and unrivalled career prospects.

The Role

Working as part of the Aerodynamic Development group, you will be developing and maintaining robust CAD surface files suitable for use by Aerodynamicists. You will assess the surface quality and FIA legality of all group project surface files. You will use you knowledge and previously gained experience to feedback suggested improvements to other users as necessary.

You will work as part of an integral developing time saving efficiency's within the surface model structures and working with CAD specialists to develop software improvements, including macro’s, to add efficiency's to the surfacing process.

The Person:

To compliment your industry experience working as a Surface Engineer you will have Excellent CAD skills (UG NX is preferable), be Microsoft office literate and be able to give Clear and concise communication, both verbally and with the use of email.

You will be deadline driven and have the ability to plan and manage own workloads whilst prioritising under tight time restrictions. You will be able to feedback suggestions for improvements and be continually monitoring critical self-assessment.
