The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
EHS Advisor - OHS support for Head Office function, support for UK improvement initiatives and key advice for Environemntal issues:-
Support business by applying in-depth environmental knowledge to offer solutions and advice. Assist in the delivery of environmental Group-wide performance improvement programs and ensure effective risk management.

Main Accountabilities:

Metrics Reports: Environment incidents/ Feed back on lessons/implementation/Group Sustainability objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) as required.

Regulatory compliance: Track, assesses and reports on emerging environmental trends and related legislation.
Support managers to ensure the respective organisation is compliant with environment-related laws, standards and guidelines. Implements policies and standards.
Ensure area of responsibility is audited according to program for audit.

Risk management: Contribute to effective risk management of environment-related issues in the business by providing advice on key business decisions to the respective organisation.

Continuous improvement: Drive behavioral change, implementation of practices and Group-wide performance improvement programs locally to ensure a strong focus on environment throughout the organisation.

Communication and engagement: Engage with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, raise awareness and gain commitment on environment efforts and performance and obtain objective feedback.
Cooperate with other functions and business partners to drive environmental performance.

Operational support: Ensure appropriate environmental equipment and tools are available and used. Identifie, plan and initiate training need, e.g. for employees, site managers, and agree with, and ensure delivery of training from shared service center. Drives and ensures compliance with country management systems (ISO 14001).

Project management: Contributes to and/or plans and executes environment related projects. Develos and report on project objectives. Manages project resources such as manpower, financials and other relevant factors.
