Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Mechanical and Electrical Bias

My Client is looking for a Multi Skilled Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) installation and maintenance engineer who has a strong background in electrical maintenance and also has experience working in head offices and high profile sites.

This is a full time position working in Central London right next to Waterloo Station and is an excellent opportunity to join a major engineering organisation that will utilise your skills within the maintenance of mechanical and electrical appliances in high pressure situations. The successful candidate will be conducting planned and reactive maintenance on electrical appliances such as lighting systems, power distribution, UPS, Generators and BMS.

What you will be doing:
  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial buildings.

  • Small Installation works on new equipment when required.

  • Diagnose and repair faults to equipment.
Requirements of the candidate:
  • 17th edition wiring certification.

  • Government Security Clearance of SC or above will be needed before starting the position

  • Over 5 years’ experience working on a high end office.

  • City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate.

  • Working knowledge of High and Low Voltage installations.

  • Experience of BMS, UPS, lighting and power distribution systems.
