As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment in our client’s Extrusions Department. 

Reporting to the Production and Engineering Manager, you’ll carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment to minimise downtime and costs. 

You’ll complete tasks in-line with schedules and machine manufacturer’s recommendations. Additionally, you’ll maintain accurate documentation for your completed work. 

As part of your role, you will be required to travel to our client’s other sites to provide maintenance support. 

To be considered, you’ll need: 

- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer 
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems 
- An ONC level qualification 
- A full driving licence 

Adaptable and flexible, as a Maintenance Engineer, you must have great problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach. The ability to work swiftly and efficiently while under pressure is also key. 

Experience of PVCu products in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial to your application, as would a Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma qualification. 

Please note, this is a full time role, working continental shifts of 7:00 – 19:00.
