Relevant duties and responsibilities will include assurance of a cost effective delivery and quality services in accordance with Company's vision and values so as to enhance the quality of life and physical environment of the client. A high quality client focused civil, structural and design service with interpersonal and organisational skills alongside commercial, managerial and technical aspects will be required and to establish strong working relationships with other internal teams as well as taking an active role in winning work and supporting business development opportunities.

Your experience will include:

Previous experience in managing a planning or project controls department in dealing with a range of complex infrastructure programme planning / scheduling;
Be a highly motivated individual with excellent technical and communication skills along with being able to demonstrate the ability to manage a large multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of highway and transportation related works
General knowledge and understanding of highway, bridge, and transportation engineering policies and legislation with a sound technical background
Ability to programme, supervise and monitor a number of projects simultaneously from inception to completion
Ability to demonstrate experience or understanding of Health and Safety including CDM

Good IT, written and verbal communication skills at all levels
Good time /budgetary management skills and commercial acumen
Working knowledge of basic legislation
Confident self-motivating and innovative with the ability to share our enthusiasm and determination
Experience of working with consultants/ contractors
