The Role:
• Manage the creation of all documentation liaising with the process owners to provide a scheduled requirement.
• Define the assembly sequence based on experience and payload specific knowledge to optimise the overall Project schedule.
• Attend BOM and Test BOM meetings to define inputs for assembly.
• Review documentation and conduct safety reviews to support critical handling activities.
• Confirm MGSE availability and coordinate delivery in line with schedule.
• Support flight hardware delivery review boards.
• Produce and enforce accountability box process.
• Schedule unplanned work based on inputs from process owners.
• Attend and define daily priorities for operations team at the daily meetings. Including optimisation of ops log for the following day.
• Ensure maintenance of MGSE documentation throughout the project.
• Act as the Project Safety Engineer and lead critical handling activities.
• Lead the shipping process, co-ordination with logistics, and creation of transfer tasks (With support from the Process Owners).
• Schedule Re-work instructions based on project requirements, and issue them correctly to the clean room
• Supporting the Assembly Engineering and wider AIT team with new processes, process improvements, training module inputs and the skill requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• High level of mechanical skills and relevant Space or Aerospace experience.
• Experience managing internal and external clients
• Experience delivering procedures and process control.
• Good planning skills and process competence (SAP/BOM system experience an advantage).
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience of payload builds.
• Good ;level of experience managing schedules and keeping them on target
• High Level experience of Lean engineering
• Previous experience working in a clean room is an advantage
