Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Plumbing Bias - Cambridgeshire

My Client is looking for a multi skilled plumbing maintenance and mechanical fitting engineer with experience working within facilities maintenance or estates maintenance. This is a full time static position working in Huntingdon on the NOMS contract. The company are looking for an engineer to be the first point of contact on maintenance issues and will need an excellent understanding of plumbing and heating systems as well as building fabrics and installing new mechanical equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major engineering organisation that will utilise a variety of skills within facilities maintenance.   

What you will be doing:
  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on plumbing and heating systems.

  • Small installation works on new equipment when required.

  • Diagnose and repair faults to equipment.

  • Complete building fabric repairs and installations.
Requirements of the candidate:
  • City and Guilds in plumbing and heating systems.

  • Over 5 years’ experience working in facilities maintenance.

  • City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate beneficial.

  • 17th edition certification would be an advantage but not essential.
