Critical Project Resourcing is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager in Cambridge to work with one of the market-leading providers of Facilities Management services within the UK. They are looking for someone to deliver lifecycle and reactive maintenance projects within the healthcare sector.

Someone with a technical background and hands on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience who has also worked in a PFI / Hospital environment would be ideal for this role.

The majority of your time will be spent at the Cambridge site, although you will be expected to cover other sites in the surrounding region. Therefore, candidates will ideally live within an hour’s commute from Cambridge.

The client is willing to consider junior level candidates as well as Project Managers who could hit the ground running and this is reflected in the salary range on offer. The successful candidate will have great potential for progression within the company and opportunities to move onto different contracts and projects.

Job Requirements:
  • Higher education in a Mechanical or Electrical field
  • Facilities Management / Building Services experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Subcontractor management experience
  • Ability to communicate at levels and develop key relationships with clients
  • Technical background and previous work experience on the tools is highly desirable
  • Budgetary control experience
  • PFI / Healthcare experience is desirable
