The Company:
Our client has a long history in supplying specialised components, systems and services to the civil nuclear industry. They have designed, engineered, manufactured and supplied custom equipment for both new build projects and operations reactors around the world for more than 40 years.

The Role:
Working within the project controls team of the Regional Project manager by co-ordinating project design change activities, including:

Coordination of Engineering Change Management
• Communication of Engineering Change Management Information.
• Ensuring compliance with configuration management processes.
• Co-ordination of /attendance at Engineering Change Management meetings.
• Training of Engineers in the Engineering Change Management Processes and tools.
• Supporting Engineers in the application of the Engineering Change Management Processes and tools.
• Supporting Engineers to understand the impact of Engineering Changes across other departments and entities.
• Monitoring of Engineering Change Management progress and production of performance indicators.


Working flexibly in a collaborative team environment to ensure design change actvities are successfully delivered for the Bristol engineering team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Training & Experiences: Knowledge of design change management principles and techniques with experience of a design project.
Software and tools: MS Word/Excel, MS Project, VBA programming.
Functional relations: Interpersonal skills
Personal capacity: Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including influencing. Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative, with the capability to take responsibility for problems within their own capability and responsibility. Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines. Logical thinking, highly organized with attention to detail, high level of analytical and numerate skills.
