Summary of the Role:

Lead the chassis control team to design, develop, release and test all chassis control products and functions, including ESC, iBooster, TPMS, etc. for new programs. Lead and support EPAS and air suspension electronic control units and functions together with steering and suspension teams.

Main responsibilities:

The Chassis Control team is responsible for the development, product design release and testing verification of the complete chassis control systems, including ESC, TPMS, iBooster, EPAS ECU, Air suspension ECU, etc.

As the Leader of Chassis Control Team, you will have the responsibilities to manage, resource, plan and lead to perform all design, release, testing and analysis from concept study phase to product launch for all chassis control products.

The main responsibilities are:

1 Lead the team to develop design and testing plan based on program development process and program time milestones.
2 Manage and balance the working resource and loading for the whole chassis control team to complete all the assigned projects.
3 Lead the team to prepare the mule vehicle testing setup and plan including order chassis control testing materials and parts, plan the test objects and test equipment etc.
4 Responsible for chassis control product concept development, function definition, SOR, and technical specifications, instructions and procedures. Lead/support the supplier selection and development with the cross function teams.
5 Communicate and coordinate the internal and external resources to drive the chassis control product development and deliverables on time.
6 As the leader in product development team (PDT) for chassis control functions, coordinate all the chassis control cross function teams in line with the program time.


1 Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive or Electronics Engineering.
2 Extensive experience of automotive experience within product development engineering area in OEMs or chassis control suppliers.
3 Proven experience in team leader and engineering management position.
4 Able to handle hard work load business travels while being part of parallel projects.
5 Practical skills, able to do some hands on electrical/mechanical work and perform basic computer aid fault tracing and update control units when required.
6 Work as part of a global team, share experience and learn new knowledge from colleagues and others.
7 Able to effectively discuss different views and solutions within the working team.
8 Focus on delivery on time and able to understand and communicate if there are issues.
9 Fluent in speaking, presentation and written communication in English and Chinese.
10 Skills in computer programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
