Key responsibilities:

* Generating and managing MSP 2013 project plans to report cost and work
* Providing standard project reports: earned value; KPIs
* Using MSP2013 to provide regular reports for resource planning, cost information
* Creating newly authorised projects in SAP/maintaining work breakdown structure for Autotime/Project finishing
* Interrogating SAP for actual project spend
* Liaising with colleagues in US for maintenance of local projects and functional planning processes
* Ensuring that all local plans are maintained and updated correctly in line with report out timescales
* Working with finance department to ensure clear communication of project costs to support reviews
* Providing advice and guidance on project planning and the planning toolset
* Mentoring junior team members in the role of project planning
* Maintaining local standard working processes and schedules
* Participating and contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programmes.

Person specification

* The ideal candidate will be an advanced user of all MS Office applications and be an expert user/practitioner (Project server administration experience preferable) of MSP 2013.
* They will have a proven track record of project planning on large, complex projects, including full cost and work analysis and experience of SQL server report generation.
* The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently but equally enjoy working in a small team.
* They will have a strong customer focus and be confident when working with project managers for inputs to ensure on-time plan delivery.
* They will have a high degree of integrity, ensuring quality of plans and reports.
