As the Manufacturing Support Engineer you will join an established team and be responsible for the manufacturing build and test processes in a high reliability manufacturing department. You will provide technical support to manufacturing and carry out failure analysis on our clients product failures.

You will be responsible for maintaining production test stations as well as maintaining and calibrating manufacturing equipment on an ‘as required’ basis. You will undertake the continuous improvement of existing operations, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings. You will also investigate operational problems affecting production and report recommended solutions.

You will represent the technical support department in Production meetings and assist in manufacture of new product models and provide feedback on any industrialisation/design issues to the core team. You will also plan test station capability to meet the manufacturing plan. You will ultimately be responsible for the day to day running of equipment in the manufacturing area.

Ideally you will have experience with a high reliability manufacturing department within the engineering department. Our client is very keen on candidates who have the desire to improve themselves by adding value externally and drive to promote themselves internally.
