A leading Composite Design and Manufacture Aerospace client of ours are looking for an offline NC programmer to help with their CNC production on site in Southend. The ideal candidate will come from a CNC background, have experience of either Catia V5, Mazatrol or Edgecam software. We are looking for someone who thinks of the bigger picture and is keen to cement themselves in a growing and exciting company. The NC Programmer will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of CNC programmes and associated process controls.

Responsibilities include the creation and modification of CNC programmes, developed around optimized manufacturing processes that in turn maximizes production efficiencies on the applicable machine tools and ensure that the required engineering and quality requirements are achieved and that the program parameters are sufficiently robust enough in order to cope with varying manufacturing batch sizes. It will also require setting parameters aligned to specific CNC programmes and associated machine tool fixtures.

We are looking for someone who can think ahead of the curve and identify the needs and risks, before they happen. We need someone who is looking to settle at a massive organisation and look to improve the company from within.

I'm keen to talk to anyone who is interested in joining a large, yet still growing composites manufacturer. Please email james.milne@matchtech.com, or call 01489 898 213.
