Job role:-

1 Design and development of electronics for mobile applications
2 Product design from concept to production
3 Work as part of a cross functional team with senior engineers, software, mechanical and production engineers as well as QA and logistics.
4 Supervise technicians
5 Work to company quality standards



Must have experience and skills in all of these areas below, minimum 3 years directly relevant experience in a professional role:-

1 Design and development of circuits such as power supplies, battery chargers, dcdc converters or motor controllers
2 Familiar with use of CAD tools for simulation, schematic capture and PCB layout

Desirable experience and skills:-

1 Design for mobile applications such as road, rail or marine
2 Design for high volume manufacture ( over 10,000 per year )
3 Thermal design of electronic equipment rated at more than 100W
4 Design to meet EMC standards
5 Design to meet safety standards
6 Familiar with design methods such as FMEA
7 Familiar with structured design methods
8 Microprocessor controlPersonal attributes

10 Must be a completer finisher
11 Must be a team player and also able to work alone with minimum guidance
12 Structured individual with good problem solving and analytical skills
13 Good at personal time management

Qualifications required :-

1 BEng/BSc in electrical or electronic engineering, minimum grade 2:1



Experience required -

1 Proven relevant professional experience in industry after graduation.
