Multi Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias - Weymouth

My Client is looking for a multi skilled electrical maintenance engineer who has a strong background in the maintenance of high street banks, shopping centres and head offices. This is a full time mobile position working across the Weymouth/ Dorset area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major engineering organisation that will utilise your skills within the maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and building fabrics.

The ideal engineer will have experience and qualifications in the electrical maintenance of commercial properties and will be able to complete in depth fault finding on electrical systems as well as being able to complete some maintenance on HVAC and building fabrics.

What you will be doing:
  • Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial buildings.
  • Small Installation works on new equipment when required.
  • Diagnose and repair faults to equipment
Requirements of the candidate:
  • Previous experience working in a similar building service maintenance role is essential.
  • 17th edition wiring certification is required.
  • Over 5 years’ experience working in facilities maintenance.
  • City and Guilds testing and inspection certificate desirable.
